Occasionally sublime, but too often painfully dull. Klaus Kinski’s sad and soulful performance is a bright light in the center, but sadly is let down by nearly everything around him, notably the barely in the film Van Helsing, and perhaps the most awful laughing/crazy performance ever from Roland Topor as Renfield.
