Rambo VS Leatherface & Co is a great pitch, and Wrong Turn 2 comes the closest to it that I’ve ever seen, but is unfortunately hampered by too many characters (most performed very badly), too much bullshit non-story, and the worst kill lines they could’ve possibly given to Henry Rollins. I have to give credit for not being an identical retreat of part 1, which was, in itself, a retread of so much that came before. I think here is where I tap out of the Wrong Turn series, leaving an additional 5 films unwatched. I would, however, like to see a “greatest hits” of this franchise cut together with a minor-key version of Take Me Home (Country Road).
