Even outside these incredibly turbulent times, it would be essential for white horror fans like myself to seek and see the black community’s perspectives on horror, and their unique relationship with it, and the original sin of our country. I have seen and enjoyed many of these films, but hearing about them from this perspective added more depth and nuance to them. I also came away with several new horror films on my list.
Also, would pay $10 at a theater just to watch Ken Foree and Keith David sing Monster Mash for 2 hours.
