Thoroughly enjoyable if not entirely original. Really, what new can be done in the zombie genre? Yummy does go out of its way to deliver the “orgy of blood” its descriptions promised, adding two likeable leads amidst the sea of unlikeables that always seem to stock zombie flicks. One notable horror, an incredibly mangled, set on fire, then frozen dick. Haven’t seen that before. Tries hard to reach the gory excess of Peter Jackson’s Dead Alive/Braindead, but never quite gets there.
