While the beginning is spent in the tired “I swear, Chucky did it” “Why are you lying?” mode, the film more than makes up for it once Christine Elise’s Kyle takes over as Andy’s ally. The effects, both creature and gore, are top notch, which is to be expected from Kevin Yagher. As enjoyable as it was, it’s difficult as the audience that knows what’s happening to spend so much time watching others have no idea.
